Curvy Text II
Here is another tutorial that will show you how to make Curvy Text, so now you have 2 options, enjoy.
Open a new image, 400x400, white background.
- Select the Text Tool
, use the Font type: Arial; Size: 60pt; Color: black.

- You can now type "This is what Curvy Text looks like." or whatever you want, then leave a space after the last word. The text will most likely go off the image, but thats okay.
- Now is the time to decide if you want your text to be Clockwise or Counter Clockwise. It will automatically be set at Counter Closewise, if you want to change it then, go to Edit >> Transform >> Rotate 180 degrees .
- Now click on the Move Tool
and at the top of your Adobe check off the Show Bounding Box this option will allow you to move your Text around, see below.
- Now go over to your Layers Palette, and right click on the Text Layer (the one with the words) and select Rasterize Layer.
- Then go to Filter >> Distort >> Polar Coordinates, select the Rectangular to Polar and use the same option like below:
- Okay now use your Move Tool
and make sure the Bounding Box is checked off, move your Text so that it fits in your image.
- At this point you can add any extra effects to the text such as bevel, drop shadow and so on, if this tutorial or any others helped you please be kind and link back to PixelFx.org
