Glowing Text
This is glowing text, want to try this? Lets go!!
Create a new image 250 x 100 pixels.
- Press D and then Alt+Backspace to get black background but you can use what you want.
- Pick a foreground color from the color palette.
- Select the text icon on your Tool Palette, on the left hand side the icon with the "T". Font I used is called 04b_19, use whatever you like, I used size 72pt with this font, yours might vary.
- Look at the top right side of your Adobe and you will see a black check mark:
, click it when your done using the Text Tool.
- Go to Layer>>New>>Layer and click OK if a box comes up.
- In your layer window, while holding down the CTRL key, click on your text layer (see image below):

- Now go to Select>>Modify>>Expand and choose 4 pixels.
- Now go to Select>>Feather and feather it to 8 pixels.
- Now, press CTRL+H.
- Pick a forground color that will be your glow.
- Now press ALT+Backspace and you should see the glow.
- Now, you want the glow in the background so go to your Layers window and drag Layer 1 on top of your Text Layer. This will place Layer 1 under your text layer.

- Flatten your image by going to Layer>>Flatten Image, all the way to the bottom.
