Install & Use Brushes

I had this tutorial but i must of lost it somewhere, anyway this tutorial will show you how to install brushes and use them. You will need winzip to unzip some of the brushes. This tutorial will be to show you how to install and use brushes for Adobe Photoshop ONLY.

Installing Brushes

If your brushes are zipped up then use winzip and unzip them. If they are .abr that means thier ready to be installed.
Make sure Adobe is unloaded before beginning.
This is the location of my Brushes folder, yours may be different:
For PS7 C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Brushes, I am using Windows 2000.
Now that you know where they belong, all your brushes that are .abr will be moved in there, your done with this portion of the tutorial.
Using Brushes
Load Adobe Photoshop and open a new image any color dont matter this is for practice.
Go to the Tools Palette and click on the Brush Tool
Then go up to the top of Adobe and click on the black arrow that is circled in the image below:
Then go to the other black arrow that is circled in the image below and click on it:
Next image will be where you see your brushes at.
Select the brush you would like to use, and click once on your new image and you will see your brush appear.
For every brush you want to use you must select it in the area shown in the image below. After you select the brush in Step #4 then you select it in the image below.
Once your done using your brushes and you want to use your Pencil Tool you need to reset your brushes or it will look kind of weird so just click on the same place you see in the image below and it will Reset Brushes to default.
Thats pretty much it, heres some random brushes.
