Pixelated Text
With this tutorial you will learn how to make your text Pixelated like this.
Open a new image 250x250.
- Pick colors for your foreground and background I used #96D3FA and #2B5067.
- Then go to Filter >> Render >> Clouds
- Use a nice big not too fat font and type something
- Next duplicate the text layer (the layer you have writing on) by going to the Layers Palette and right clicking on the Text Layer and go to Duplicate, click OK to the pop up.
- Now drag the Duplicated copy UNDER the original Text Layer like this
- Your copy you just moved will be selected, now go to Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur and choose a radius of 4.0 pixels. If you get a pop up click OK
- Next go to Filter >> Pixelate >> Mosaic. Size 14, add any other text option you like. I added a color overlay and outer bevel emboss.
