Pixel Text Border
I know lots of you wonder how to put a border on those cute little letters like 04b_09 and the like. Well here it is, can be used to make blinkie bases.
This tutorial I'm going to make the name with a transparent background, but you can do this on any graphic you want.
- Open up a new image and make the background transparent or on the image you want this on.
- Click on the Text Tool
then go to the top and pick the font you want to use. I'll be using 04b_03b, type your word in ALL CAPITALS, using 8pt, although you can use any size you like.
- Now go to the Layers Palette, and click on the F at the bottom like you see here circled in RED.
- Go to Stroke, use these settings:
Size: 1
Position: Outside
Blend Mode: Normal
Opacity: 100
- Select the color you would like your border to be, click OK, and your done, save your image as a .GIF or it will not be transparent if your doing just a words like I did in this tutorial, otherwise save whatever format you want.
