Sinedots 1
This is a great 3D Filter to use, similiar to Sinedots 2 but with a different filter. If you ever wanted a 3D look but don't have the 3D program try this.
Open a new image 300x200 or any size you like, pick a background color now or you can colorize it later.
- You will need to download this Sinedots filter.
- Your going to need Winzip to unzip this filter, when you unzip just make sure it goes into the Plug-Ins folder as shown below.
- After installing the filter, open up Photoshop and go to Filter >> DragonFly >> Sinedots.
- Now all you do is play with the settings until you get something you like.
- When you finally found something you like, click OK and then you can adjust the color to what you like.
- If you find that your edges are jagged, then just duplicate the layer like this:
- Now go to Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 4 or whatever you feel is good for your image.
- On the copied Layer, change the opacity to anything you like that will make your image look better.
- Finally when you got it like you want, you can flatten the image by going to Layer >> Flatten Image.
- Now you can colorize it unless you began with a color you want, go to Image >> Adjustments >> Hue & Saturation, adjust how you like.
